1. About Expense Tracker

Expense Tracker is a personal expense tracking and budgeting application designed to help users organize and understand their income, expenses, budgets, upcoming transactions, bills, and financial activity.

The App allows users to create and manage account books such as:

• Personal
• Family
• Business
• Other account books created by the user

Expense Tracker does not connect to your bank account, payment account, UPI account, or other financial institution.

The App does not require you to create an online account.

2. Information You Enter Into the App

Expense Tracker allows you to enter and manage information such as:

• Expenses
• Income
• Balances
• Budgets
• Categories
• Upcoming transactions
• Upcoming bills
• Recurring spending information
• Account book information
• Notes associated with transactions
• Receipt images or other photos you choose to attach
• Other information you voluntarily enter into the App

This information is used to provide the App's expense tracking, budgeting, reporting, and insight features.

Local storage

Your expense, income, budget, transaction, account book, and receipt information is stored locally on your device.

Smart-WebTech does not upload your financial information to its own servers.

Your financial information is not intentionally transmitted to Smart-WebTech, Firebase Analytics, AdMob, or other advertising services.

Because your financial information is stored locally, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and protecting access to the App.

3. Receipt and Photo Information

Expense Tracker allows you to attach receipt images or photos to your transactions.

Receipt images are stored locally on your device.

Smart-WebTech does not upload these receipt images to its servers or intentionally share them with Firebase Analytics, AdMob, or other third parties.

If you delete the related information or app data, locally stored receipt images associated with that data may also be deleted.

4. Analytics Information

Expense Tracker uses Firebase Analytics to understand general App usage and improve the App.

Firebase Analytics may process technical and usage information such as information about how the App is used, device or app-related information, and interaction information.

We configure Firebase Analytics so that your financial content is not sent to Firebase Analytics. This means we do not intentionally send your:

• Expense details
• Income details
• Budget information
• Transaction details
• Receipt images
• Account book information

to Firebase Analytics.

Firebase Analytics is provided by Google. Google's processing of information is subject to Google's applicable policies and terms.

5. Advertising

Expense Tracker uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

We use non-personalized advertising rather than advertising based on your personal financial activity or your expense history.

Your expense and income information is not used by Smart-WebTech to create advertising profiles or target advertisements.

We do not sell your financial information to advertisers.

However, when advertisements are displayed, Google and its advertising technology may process certain technical information, such as device-related information, advertising identifiers, ad interaction information, and information required for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, or reporting, depending on the applicable AdMob configuration and platform.

Non-personalized ads are not based on a user's past behavior for ad targeting, but Google states that they may still use cookies or mobile advertising identifiers for frequency capping and aggregated ad reporting.

6. Information We Do Not Collect Through Our Own Servers

Expense Tracker is designed so that Smart-WebTech does not receive your financial records through its own servers.

We do not operate a server-based user account system for Expense Tracker.

We do not intentionally collect through our own servers:

• Bank account credentials
• UPI credentials
• Banking passwords
• Credit or debit card numbers
• Your transaction history
• Your expense records
• Your income records
• Your budgets
• Your receipt images

The App does not require access to your bank account or payment account to function.

7. No User Account Required

Expense Tracker does not require you to register for an online account.

You do not need to provide an email address, phone number, username, or password to use the core expense tracking features.

Because there is no server-based user account, Smart-WebTech does not maintain an online account containing your financial records.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete your locally stored App data through the available deletion functionality in Expense Tracker.

Because your financial information is stored locally, deleting the data from the App only it does not removes the relevant information from your device.

There is no Smart-WebTech server account containing your expense information that needs to be deleted.

You should understand that deleting local data may be permanent. We may not be able to recover information that you delete.

If you uninstall the App or otherwise remove its locally stored data, your locally stored financial information in application may also be lost.

9. Data Retention

Your financial information remains on your device until you delete it, remove the App's data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove the information through the functionality available on your device.

Smart-WebTech does not retain your financial records on its own servers.

Analytics and advertising-related information may be retained by the relevant third-party service providers according to their applicable policies and retention practices.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to design Expense Tracker so that your financial information remains locally stored on your device.

However, no mobile application or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your device secure
• Using appropriate device security measures
• Protecting access to your device
• Keeping your operating system updated
• Avoiding unauthorized access to your device

If someone gains access to your unlocked device, they may be able to access information stored by the App.

11. Third-Party Services

Expense Tracker uses certain third-party services to support analytics and advertising.

We do not knowingly design or market Expense Tracker for children under 18. If you believe that a person under 18 has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can review the situation.

Google Play requires developers to accurately declare the app's target audience, and apps that include children in their target audience can be subject to additional Families requirements.

13. International Users

Expense Tracker is made available to users internationally.

The App's financial records are designed to remain locally stored on the user's device. However, third-party services such as Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob may process certain technical, analytics, or advertising-related information in accordance with their own services and applicable laws.

If you use Expense Tracker from outside India, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with applicable local laws.

14. Your Privacy Choices

You can control your locally stored financial information through the features provided in the App.

Depending on the available functionality, you may:

• Add or edit your financial records
• Delete transactions
• Delete budgets
• Manage account books
• Delete locally stored App data
• Remove receipt images

You may also control certain permissions through your device settings.

Information, calculations, summaries, charts, insights, budgets, or other results shown by the App should not be treated as professional financial advice.

You are responsible for reviewing your financial information and making your own financial decisions.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, legal requirements, or data practices.
